Oxford’s famous rival is a very different city. I first came here as a teenager and fell in love with the place. The streets from the Fitzwilliam Museum to the Round Church are a beautiful architectural tour de force. The painting is based on a sketch from the top of Castle Hill - one of the view high places in the city.
