walking the year
eight seasonal boxes shaped by the rhythms of the year.
Walking the Year is a series of eight carefully curated boxes released across the turning seasons. Each one marks a moment in the natural cycle — a pause, a shift, a returning light.
Created from our shared house in Wensleydale, every box brings together craft, story and a simple act of making. They are not hurried deliveries, but small seasonal gatherings — offered thoughtfully, in step with the year.

Between Seed and Bloom
Early Spring — Second of Eight The Season Winter is loosening its hold. The days are slowly lengthening. Beneath the soil, seeds are stirring. This Box This box offers a small making and a quiet act, chosen for the turning toward spring. Inside you’ll find a little clay to shape and a small packet of seeds. a story of a witch-hare and a paper pussywillow. An Invitation Take a moment to shape the clay in your hands. Form a small dish — something simple, something imperfect. When it is dry, it can hold a seed, a small object, or simply the thought of something beginning. Plant the seeds in their own time. They are a reminder that growth begins long before we see it. A Closing Early spring does not arrive all at once. It begins quietly -- with small signs, and the patience to notice them. |
