This' Wild Hive' mixed media piece is made from a section of a French typecase / printer's tray. The honeycomb is made from folded paper, each cell is painted and filled with honey coloured resin.
The little bees are stitched from felt, thread and wire.This piece is signed and numbered on the back.
It measures: 36cm high, 22cm wide, 5.5cm deep (at the deepest point. There is a small triangular ring on the back so that it can be hung on the wall.
