Azure to Indigo
1st March-5th May

An exhibition exploring all things blue, from the moody contemplative tones of Indigo to the energising and calming effects of Azure.  Exhibiting artists include ceramists Adrift Pottery, Lucy Burley and Lorna Gilbert, printmakers Janis Goodman and Anna Matyus , and artists Rachel Thornton and  Ian Scott Massie.

Adrift Pottery

Hand built earthenware ceramics decorated with slip and a limited palette of mainly raw iron, cobalt and copper oxide to add colour and depth to the work. Made in Wales.

Lucy Burley

Lucy is a Surrey-based ceramicist. A collection of her wonderful bottles, which are useful but also have a sculptural, still-life appearance when grouped together, form part of our exhibition. Made with earthenware clay and decorated with semi-matt earthenware glazes and oxides to obtain wonderful blue tones, these will be available to purchase in the Gallery.
