Tamsin AbbottMost of the glass Tamsin uses comes from the UK’s last remaining manufacturer of mouth-blown sheet glass. She cuts the glass to shape and covers it in traditional glass paint, when this has dried it is put on a light box and the design is drawn into the paint the light slowly revealing the colour of the glass below. After the piece is fired in a kiln it is then finished using traditional lead cames, soldered, cemented and polished. As well as the work sold through galleries Tamsin also does site- specific work.

Currently these are examples of the kind of work that Tamsin makes. Unfortunatly we do not have any of Tamsin's work in the gallery at the moment, but keep an eye on our facebook page for when we get more in. Prices range from around £75 - £320.
