| Most of the glass Tamsin uses comes from the UK’s last remaining manufacturer of mouth-blown sheet glass.
She cuts the glass to shape and covers it in traditional glass paint, when this has dried it is put on a light box and the design is drawn into the paint the light slowly revealing the colour of the glass below.
After the piece is fired in a kiln it is then finished using traditional lead cames, soldered, cemented and polished.
As well as the work sold through galleries Tamsin also does site- specific work.
