Art Courses

The courses take place in the beautiful market town of Masham in Wensleydale, famous for its two breweries - Black Sheep and Theakston - and its annual Sheep Fair. Each course lasts from 10 am to 4 pm and there are breaks for tea, coffee and biscuits and an excellent buffet lunch which is included in the course payment.

The venues are Fearby Village Hall, for courses until October (while the Methodist Hall is being renovated) and then Masham’s Methodist Church Hall, Park Street for November and December. Masham is easily reached by following the A6108 from Ripon or Leyburn or the B6267 from the A1 and Thirsk. Fearby is reached by taking the left hand turn signposted to Fearby and Healey, just as you are leaving Masham in the Leyburn direction. The village hall is on the right at the top of the village. The Methodist Church Hall is behind the Methodist Church on Park Street. There is ample free parking at both venues.

Should you wish to stay in Masham or enjoy a meal before leaving for home please ask for details. Masham has an excellent range of accommodation and restaurants. A list of required materials will be sent with your letter of confirmation.
