Adrienne French is based in York she uses mixed media and the work despite being largely 2 dimensional has a tactile quality to it, the surfaces are scratched into, rubbed with pastel or layered with paint. recently Adrienne has been to Ethiopia and some of these experiences are reflected in this exhibition.

Sandra Hammer lives in Northumberland, surrounded by what must be a constantly changing inspiration of landscape. her work is colourful expressive and bold.

Freya Horsley is also based in York her work reflects the changing light and weather of the landscape. Drawing on the walks and travels she makes on moors and mountains and around the coast, Freya gathers information and memories which feed into the paintings.
