"I am fascinated by people and the sometimes comic language of the human body. My figures might express a state of mind, illustrate an aspect of life or moment in a narrative. Some are individuals with their own story while others stand for people in general. The work is built using thin slabs of clay and coloured with layers of stains and glazes. Each piece is individual and unique."
